The Golden Boy, The World’s Most Expensive Burger Worth IDR 85 Million

Burger is one of the favorite foods, especially for young people. In Indonesia, burgers are one of the most popular foods, although they are not as popular as in other countries.

If usually burgers on the market are sold for only tens of thousands of rupiah, this is different for this one burger only. The reason is, this burger managed to break the record as the most expensive burger in the world.

How could one portion of the burger named The Golden Boy burger not be sold for 5,000 euros or around IDR 85 million. The price seems comparable to the delicacy.

Reporting from https://www.cravebarfoodjoyntil.com/ The Golden Boy Burger is made with 100 percent Wagyu A5, Beluga caviar, king crab, white truffle and other premium ingredients. The Golden Boy burger was created by Robbert Jan de Veen, owner of the Dutch restaurant De Daltons.

He had the idea to make the most expensive burger in the world because he saw the record for the most expensive burger in the world in 2011. The record was previously held by an Oregon restaurant that produced a $5,000 burger. The weight of the burger itself is known to reach 352 kilograms.

Robert also thought it was something cool. Without thinking much he then decided to make a burger that is more expensive than the burger and can be made by just one person.

„WOW! what a cool record, but it’s a shame they made a 350kg burger. If you have a record like that, you have to make a burger that can be eaten by one person. Because it’s the most expensive burger in the world,“ explained Robbert as reported by Odditycentral. com on Friday (9/7/2021).

The current pandemic situation makes Robert a little concerned, because many restaurants are forced to close. Although his delivery service is still active, it still makes him depressed.

Because of that, Robbert decided to make the world’s most expensive burger. The man plans to donate all of the burger’s income to people in need.

Robert himself said that making The Golden Boy burger is not easy. He failed several times, but finally managed to find a suitable combination for the burger he created. Almost all of the ingredients for this burger are also made from expensive, quality ingredients.

From Dom Perignon champagne sandwiches wrapped in gold leaf, Japanese Wagyu beef, Beluga caviar, Joselito Bellota 100 percent Iberico Vintage Jamon, Cheddar with truffles from Wyke Farms.

All of these ingredients are then drizzled with barbecue sauce made from Kopi Luwak coffee and Macallan Single Malt Whiskey Rare Cask, and smoked saffron chive mayonnaise made from duck eggs. Not only that, the burger is also bathed in whiskey smoke to add to the taste.

“The ingredients complement each other really well and the flavors are really strong,” says Robbert.

“Even though these burgers are very expensive, you still have to use your hands because that’s the only way to eat a burger. Since the bun is covered in gold leaf, your fingers will be golden the moment you eat it,” she added.

Burger The Golden Boy’s first customer was Geor Schuurman, manager of Remia, a Dutch company that makes margarine, sauces, sauces, and so on. The two of them agreed that the honor of eating the first ‚Golden Child‘ should go to the right person.
