Improving modeling quality
Modeling data can be compared to raw data. Unlike raw data, modeled data is more often than not a result of multiple data collection and operations. Modeling has two types of errors, data-type errors and the modeling algorithm. Error of data-type means data is not in a standard format. This includes errors in attribute values or coordinate values. For example, a table of coordinates may have a row and column identified by a letter. Such errors are sometimes called “fake data” as a modeler looks at the data and sees the collection of coordinates associated with a specific table.

Algorithmic error involves modeling parameters such as dimensioning. The systematic inability to dimension properly can be the result of a failed model.

Quality models are often the results of the best skills of many humans. There are few cases where the automated algorithms of CAD/CAM systems have done well. Automated algorithms often perform poorly due to:
Data is noisy, non-standard, and complex. Most importantly, most data in CAD applications is geometric. This includes coordinate data.
There is little standard of dimensioning, which is, in many cases, the most complex aspect of modeling. In some cases, the dimensions are human-made and not even data.

Quality modeling involves minimizing the type of errors and getting as close to modeling perfection as possible.

CAD/CAM have the ability to create a range of precision from run-time rendered models to image-based, virtual reality models. For instance, an image-based model is created and rendered to obtain highly accurate geometry, and the image can be stored and can be used for virtual reality.

I want to select the row that has the maximum value.
How do I do that using CTE?
