Clink comes with many functions for text manipulation. Basic editing commands include newline, edit, and paste. Line editing commands allow to set your editing position to multiple positions on the same line. The undo/redo commands are useful for efficient editing. Completion commands list command names when you type out one or a few characters at your command line. The clipboard access is useful for pasting text from your browser or web service. The text wrapping function makes text lines automatically adjust their width. The text search function is integrated to the file dialogs as well as in command line with the „find text“ command.
The commands can be operated via a simple and intuitive command line. The text editing and command line history are displayed in a list. You can scroll through them with the up and down arrows. The commands are accessible by the right arrow to go into the next command, or by left arrow to go into the previous one.

The stand alone version lets you enable the „clink“ command for your command line.

The clink option of Windows can be set with the command line.

Paste Clipboard
Paste Clipboard is an additional utility, but you can use it to paste content from any application with it.
The application can split a content into paragraphs to improve the appearance.
To paste content from a different application, click on the clipboard icon in the left-bottom of the
main screen, and a selection box will appear. Drag and drop the clip from an application to the box.
Below the box, you will see options for paste.
Run the command line
Click on the Run command line icon on the left. You will see all the contents in the command line.
Click on the next icon to the right, it will open the current cursor location, and the you can select
a text to run the command or use up/down arrows to navigate through the command line history.
View command history
Click on the view command history button.
You will see all the commands you have executed, starting with the last one executed.
Insert character
Click on the character icon.
You can type a sequence of characters by clicking on the keyboard buttons.
If you want to insert a character into the command line, click on the button to add it.
Click on the red dot in the bottom to exit the dialog box.
Move the cursor
Click on the cursor icon next to Run command line.
You will move the cursor to that position.
Backspace
Click on the backspace button to erase a text and go back.
If there are characters after the cursor, it will clear those as well.
Cut Clipboard
Click on the clipboard icon in the left-bottom.
You will get a selection box where you can drag and drop the content from any application.
Go to previous command line
Click on the Go to previous command line button.
You will get a dialog box where you can navigate through the command line history.
Navigation key
Click on the up arrow button to get back to the cursor location.
Use the down arrow button to get to the last entered command.
Use the right button to get to the previous command.
Use the left button to get to the next command.
Use the the middle button to go to the end of the command line.
To have search functions, you can click on the Search button on the right.
