ease to use, application that allows you to monitor, track, and alert on the use of network resources. Simply enter in the resources you wish to monitor. Designed to let you know whether your storage disks are running low, you can configure SpaceMon to monitor most systems on the network. SpaceMon can notify you of any Internet Protocol (IP) traffic that moves to and from a specified network resource, and optionally send email alerts when the specified amount of disk space is low.

Monitor network shares under Windows 7.
Network Shares are a place where you can share a file or folder of information with other computers on your network. These shares are also called Network Storage or Network Storage Area. They reside on a server or you can add them to a Windows Vista or Windows XP computer. Some examples of Network Shares include Desktop, Documents, Music, Photo Gallery and Videos.
Since Network Shares are similar to traditional file shares, you can configure them just like a standard file share. You can map a Network Share to a drive letter on your local computer. You can also configure a Network Share to be monitored with SpaceMon and have your Network Share monitored from the familiar Windows Explorer.
You can then monitor the size of a drive or folder on a shared network drive from the Windows Explorer. When the size of the network share drops below your specified level of free space, you will receive notification.
In addition to being able to monitor the size of network share with the Windows Explorer, you can monitor the size of network shares through SpaceMon.

* Windows Update might mess the system up, if you start it, the other systems will not start, this is just a warning and not a fix.
