This is a game I’ve been putting off for some time because it is almost impossible to play. I struggled through it for almost 30 minutes to try and get this in as a video. it is a simple japanese shmup. Hope it’s a little fun 🙂

Slinging some justice into your playtime. Slinging some justice into your playtime is like strapping an AR-50 to your back and strapping a BAR-10 to your other back. Continuing the AR-50 theme, this game uses the older style of combat seen in the AR-50 games, but keeps the familiar Slashers combat system, which is where the „A“ and „R“ in the game’s title come into play.

Highlights include:

-A large amount of content, with the main campaign play area being over 1/4 of a megabyte in size.

-An incredible soundtrack featuring over 15 musical pieces based on the game theme.

-A graphics engine that is still quite powerful, and displays great amounts of detail.

-A gameplay style that is highly enjoyable, with a variety of game modes, enemies, bosses, and weapons.

-Various difficulties and game length options.

Highlights of the game system include:

-A TICK-TAC-TOE BASED weapon system – similar in function and use to the MACMYFEARS games.

-Ability to change both weapons and equipment while flying.

-Two weapons are automatically equipped (and can be swapped at any time), and weapons can be equipped while shooting, allowing for added speed and versatility.

-Some items can be placed in the items menu during combat, allowing weapons to be customized and options to be changed.

The game is free and runs on any DOS-based computer, however this is a good chunk of game data and updates to the graphics files aren’t supported by any of the existing freeware Che
