    The model is compatible with GTS over the internet* and in the Windows application. It is important that this model be used with GTS edition 1.24.1 and later – a model that was used with earlier versions of GTS will not function and cause erratic behaviour. *This model does not work with GTS Online.
    This version of the loco is relatively limited in that it is fixed to a tilting table and can only be run in the Virtual Reality (VR) mode (but not in VR mode with a throttle steering wheel).
    The loco is very long, which means it is almost twice the length of the original Class 86 loco in GTS. As such, there are extra loco parts in the scenery (which are NOT in the main kit). The loco is also tall, so several blocks need to be removed from the wall.
    This is an extension of the original loco, and as such, there are many of the pieces for the loco which are not included in the main kit. The loco uses some of the loco kit, but most of the extra loco parts are to the rear of the loco (on or under the chassis).
    The loco is operated by the two motors and is controlled by using an Xbox 360 controller, and the GTS remote**. A HUD is included in the Windows application, but it is not fully functional in VR mode. The loco is driven by a GTS engine (version 1.26), which is used for all locomotives in the game.
    This includes the Class 86, Class 87, Class 91, Class 92, Classes 114 and 195 locos, many of the Irish locos (all the Irish locos apart from the original Cabra and Mamore locos), the Class 700 and Class 720 locos and some of the special class locos.
    **This is only included in the Windows version of GTS, and not as standard with the Xbox controller.

      for Microsoft Train Simulator is a Class 86 Loco Add-On for Microsoft Train Simulator, freight-train simulator video game developed by Vosstudios and published by THQ Nordic for Microsoft Windows on July 14, 2011. It was produced by Denmark-based developer Vosstudios and is based on the Czech Digital SL player called CZ DIGITAL. The game has 12 different scenarios to drive on with trains, trucks and boats. The game is a variant of the popular Finnish game called Slender: The Arrival.

      Scenarios

      The game contains 12 different scenarios in total in which the player acts as a train driver and controls a train on real-world tracks. To find a specific scenario, the player must first purchase the add-on from the in-game catalogue and then follow instructions to load the add-on.

      The scenarios are sorted by difficulty and start with 0, followed by the name of the scenario and number of trains in the scenario. The difficulty grade is indicated by a grey to black scale with white, grey and black indicators over the stop board. The order the scenarios are displayed in is the same as the order in which they were released in the game.

      Theme

      The scenarios revolve around the theme „Baltic metropolises“, which means they take place in the cities of Helsinki, Jönköping, Kalmar, Köping, Tartu, Turku and Turku New City (TUKU).

      All scenarios are influenced by industrialization, war and post war reconstruction. Some also revolve around the topic of racism. The sequel took place in North America.
