GAMEPLAY GUIDE:
The action takes place in an open world. Only a small part of the huge world map can be seen at once. Due to this, you will be able to freely roam in and explore the many different kinds of locations. The game also features large-scale battles that take place in separate locations. Battles provide an important part of the gameplay and are essential in order to progress and obtain new items.
Combat takes place using a turn-based battle system with a focus on action.
While battle plays a central role, it’s best to think of it as one component of a broader gameplay experience. At the end of a battle, you can choose from different kinds of attacks:
– Physical attacks are powerful force that deals damage to enemies.
– Magic attacks are spells that are powerful and provide various benefits.
– Support attacks improve the stats and power of your allies.
– Special attacks allow you to inflict various status effects on enemies.
The effects of damage are shown on-screen. Damage can accumulate in areas that lack a barrier. This affects your ability to attack, defend, and move.
