This is a free application for Windows developed by Picassa AG.
The application can handle all photos imported from your photo manager, as well as selected photo albums from Picassa.
You can organize imported photos in a tabular view where you can edit EXIF information and set the face tags for the photos.
Please note:
– You need to install ‚Connected Programs‘ in order to use the import feature from Picassa.
– Make sure you are running Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later.
– The application requires Windows® ‚XP Family‘ edition.
– Picasa 3 and 4 are required for the import of albums.

Photook Activator
– photograph EXIF information;

Photook Administration:

In order to use the application you need to install the following programs:
1. Automatics Photo Import Data – *.autopir.dll and *.autopir.pl;
2. Picasa 2.0 (at least 5.0 is required) for setting up the automatic capture of face tags from the exported albums, and an email server to send emails;
3. Python for adding face tags and calculating filters;
4. Python for Pyexiv2 interface;
5. Perl for data export.
Photook works with any folder, there is no need to install it onto a separate partition. First of all, install the distribution package (zip file). After unpacking, the installation requires launching the executable file, which includes all the necessary files.
The application interface is designed so that you can use the software without reading a manual. There is no way to install the EXIF manager tool onto a separate drive. To start the application you should first of all run the executable file. After running, open the program menu bar in a window.

The main window in the application is the form responsible for collecting all necessary information about your photos (open and closed folders, the name of EXIF files, the number of photos and the EXIF information).

The form is divided into tabs (left side of the figure). Under the first tab „General settings“ you can configure the application:

EDIT
In order to convert to 32 bits, you need to do the following,
1) Reset Windows Explorer to default
2) Delete: C:\Program Files\Photook
3) Do Install again
i have this issues with photook, photook will work fine and it does perform exif/face/exif request, but then after few seconds of absence photook will automatically close itself.
i am assuming it is a light memory leak issue, but what could be the reason for it?
A:
I found the reason for it.
Some day i removed photook and i did fresh install of Win7, but i did not remove ~/.photook folder from my PC. When i launched photook again it was already closed but there was no memory leaks related to photook, the problem was with photook auto closing itself.
This problem was due to the fact that in ~/.photook/ the programs folders were missing.
