Ok, that was the opening, now letâs get to the meat and potatoes, this game has some serious technical depth which gives it some great longevity.
The game is structured in three separate chapters (the first two are free) each of which introduce the gameâs battle system and experience the game has to offer.
First the battle system, then the game mechanics, then, of course, the art.
The battles are structured so well that it encourages you to play at each level like a boss, even though youâre beaten the moment you defeat the first boss.
Basically each level feels like its own chapter.
The gameplay is deadly clever and sticks to a simple idea, itâs a 1 by 1 affair.
Each enemy has a life bar, most of them have a small health bar.
There are also other things that work with the enemy mechanics to keep you on your toes.
The enemies have a range which can be easily measured (blue arrow), itâs basically their starting and ending point.
Once youâve finished hitting the enemy with a weapon the weaponâs hitbox (yellow circle) will extend and follow you for the next attack.
Once you start moving you also start approaching the enemy.
This mechanic plays well into the gameâs simple mechanics, it gives you time to think and plan ahead before you decide to unleash your first attack.
The range and hitbox mechanics are both difficult to master in combination.
If youâre just focusing on getting in range, your enemy will be easily surrounded, while if youâre focused on attacking the enemy, your range will have to be limited.

There are many reasons to use ASCII Art in any type of creative projects. As a vector type vector is not limited. So you can use ascii art as a background for your own vector font. The possibilities of vector art in 2018 are endless.
Why did I make this comp?
I really wanted a „Free Text“ component, because, what fun is that? there is a lot of fun with it. And vector art is fun. We need to respect it. I believe we need to really show that, respect vector art. We need to show that we don’t assume and it’s like anything else.
Which is why you should see it on twitter @rawlyard and in yout images. I don’t give a fuck what anyone thinks about that, and I’ve been seeing images of that since 2012, but I feel old and grow old when something happens to the pixel art. This is a fun way of displaying, printing, and everything.
What I tried to do is make a full feature vector art chiclet.
But that costs a bit more, and well that is why the name. A chiclet. A little compartment, where you can put your designs. But not that kind of designs, but you can put something like a rubber stamp, sticker, postcard, greeting card and etc.
Easy to use and full of features, and you can use something really fun and creative for your next project.

Because in vector you can do so much, and express so much, even more than in pixels. and that’s really what it’s about. I believe in vector. Sometimes you just get it, sometimes, you don’t get it. But in general if you are good at vector art, you can express so much and they vector art is about, certainly isn’t about that. If you are capable of that, then you can do the same for vectors. But in pixels?
